Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Living Spectacle
Five days a week the Mahabali Pyramid opens its doors to a curated sequence of sacred performances — from the first light of Vedic fire ceremony at sunrise, through cosmic sound journeys in the afternoon, to epic multimedia storytelling after sunset. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings the stage transforms into Ancestral Ascent — Bali's first resident circus show. And on weekends, the pyramid becomes a vessel for whatever the moment demands.
The ancient Vedic fire ritual performed precisely at sunrise — a 10-minute ceremony of purification, offering, and alignment with the cosmic rhythm of the day. Agnihotra is one of the most powerful of the Pancha Yajnas, said to purify the atmosphere and the consciousness of all who witness it. Begin your day inside the pyramid, in fire and silence.
As the sun touches the horizon a second Agnihotra fire is lit — a bookend to the day, a returning of the offering, a moment to close the light and welcome the sacred dark. The pyramid holds both ends of the day in ceremony.
A three-hour immersive journey through the geometry of creation — the Seed of Life, sacred patterns, and the frequencies at the origin of all form. Guided by crystal bowls, gongs, and a living projection universe mapping the cosmos onto the pyramid's interior. Arrive at 2pm. Leave transformed.
The great legend of King Mahabali — the benevolent demon king of Kerala who ruled a golden age of equality — told through live performance, aerial theatre, fire dance, and a fully immersive projection-mapped universe that covers every surface of the pyramid. A 44-minute mythological epic that is equal parts cinema, ceremony, and concert. This is the centrepiece of the Mahabali Pyramid's artistic vision.
Tuesday and Thursday include the full weekday schedule — Sunrise & Sunset Agnihotra, Seed Frequency 2–5pm, and Story of Mahabali after sunset — plus an additional late-night performance.
Bali's first-ever resident circus show — a breath-taking vertical journey from earth to sky, from ancestor to cosmos. Following the Story of Mahabali, the pyramid transforms into a living theatre of ascent. Aerialists climb the air on silks and hoops. Fire artists trace the ancient geometries. Acrobats weave between candlelit tables. Each act is a chapter — humanity's eternal reach toward the divine, performed inside a sacred structure built to amplify that very aspiration. Paired with a conscious dinner and a curated drinks menu. Tables are few. Every seat is front row.
Friday includes the full weekday schedule — Sunrise & Sunset Agnihotra, Seed Frequency, and Story of Mahabali — before transitioning into the weekly Ecstatic Dance.
Every Friday the pyramid floor becomes a dance floor of the soul. No alcohol. No performance. Just bodies in motion, music that moves from ambient to tribal to trance, and a pyramid that amplifies every heartbeat. Ecstatic Dance is a free-form, conscious movement practice — Bali's most beloved weekly ritual, now inside a sacred geometric vessel. Come as you are. Leave as you need to be.
Saturdays are open to curated DJ bookings — conscious electronic music from artists whose sets are crafted as journeys rather than performances. The pyramid amplifies sound with extraordinary natural resonance. Every DJ who plays here will tell you it's unlike any room they've ever touched.
Weekends are reserved for private bookings and fully customised show productions. Weddings, brand activations, retreats, film shoots, product launches, cultural festivals — if it deserves a sacred stage, the pyramid is available. Bring your vision and our creative team will build something that has never existed before.
The Seed of Life — seven interlocking circles encoding the geometry of creation — is the visual foundation of this three-hour afternoon journey. The pyramid becomes a living mandala. Sound bathes every cell. Light maps the cosmos onto stone and skin.
Guided by master sound healers using crystal singing bowls, planetary gongs, and ancient instruments, the Seed Frequency session takes participants on a journey through the sacred geometry underlying all existence. It is simultaneously a science lecture, a meditation, and a ceremony.
After the lights of the Mahabali show fade, the pyramid breathes — and reopens as something new. Ancestral Ascent is Bali's first-ever resident circus show: a living, breathing performance that runs twice weekly as a permanent installation inside the Mahabali Pyramid at Nuanu Creative City.
The show is a vertical odyssey — a story told in altitude. Artists ascend from the ground floor to the apex on aerial silks, lyra hoops, and trapeze. Fire artists trace the sacred geometry of the pyramid's walls. Acrobats move between candlelit tables in sequences choreographed to the pulse of a live soundscape. Each act is a chapter in humanity's oldest story: the ascent from the mortal to the divine, from the ancestral to the cosmic.
It is not dinner theatre. It is ceremony with dinner inside it — a three-dimensional ritual where the audience sits at the centre of the spectacle, the air above them alive with human flight.
When the weekday programme rests, the pyramid opens to the fullness of imagination. Curated DJ nights, ecstatic movement, and fully custom productions for those who wish to make the space entirely their own.
Free-form conscious movement. No alcohol. No performance. Just the body, the music, and the geometry of the pyramid holding space for whatever needs to move through you. Bali's most beloved weekly ritual — now inside the Mahabali Pyramid.
Curated DJ bookings for conscious electronic music artists. The pyramid's geometry creates an acoustic environment unlike any club or festival stage — the music doesn't just play here, it resonates through the structure itself.
The pyramid is yours. Weddings in sacred light. Brand ceremonies. Retreats. Film productions. Cultural festivals. Whatever your vision, our creative team builds the show, the visuals, the sound, and the ceremony around it. Nothing repeated. Everything sacred.
From the first flame of Agnihotra at dawn to the last note of the circus orchestra — every performance inside the Mahabali Pyramid is a passage. Come once and you'll understand why people return.
